Has anyone had any problems getting credits from BYU accepted at Excelsior?

What was your experience in taking classes there? They seems to be inexpensive, self paced and there is an extensive list of choices. If they are accepted without a problem at Execlsior, I think there are some UL classes that I may be interested in.

Excelsior should have no problems accepting BYU credits since they are RA! I took a few courses from BYU independent study and found them to be challenging. Don't underestimate or think BYU credits are "easy credits"!!

    Good Luck!

FYI, I took a Book of MOrmon class and Excelsior accepted it as philosophy credit.

BYU credit transfers to EC without issue, BYU is a common source of DL classes used by many EC students as is DL coursework from LSU.

Careful though -- BYU offers classes at many levels including personal enrichment, high school, undergrad, and graduate and in many different fields.

All credit at all levels in any field is not appropriate to all degree programs. You will need to select your coursework carefully and better yet, with advisor input.

Know too that BYU DL courses are generally challenging when compared to the same course in the seat at many colleges.

    BYU courses

I took a Writing Poetry course through Idependant Study at BYU and found the course very challenging. I received great feedback from the Prof. and really enjoyed the experience. Excelsior will accept the credits with no prob. Also one of the exams that I had taken was a language proficiency test from BYU for 12 credits and Excelsior accepted the whole shabang.

I am currently taking a Psychology class in leadership development and it is one of the most challenging course I have taken to date (exept math). However, the concepts presented are relevant and I can use them in my daily work life as I learn them. A Good class for a very good price!
