This is the full list - as far as I can determine - of RA-schools which offer a Master's Degree in Technology with an Electronics Concentration. Most schools are in the TAC/ABET BSET tradition. Others are in the NAIT BSIT tradition. (Note: Neither TAC/ABET nor NAIT accredit graduate degrees). Some programs offer the Master's entirely on-line - eg Kent State, Indiana State and Central Missouri. Others allow a significant portion of the degree to be earned on-line.

I've ranked the school from what I think is best to worst with emphasis on the Electronics aspect of the degree. If the ranking were based more on the Management aspects of the degree, some schools would rise (eg Central Missouri) and others would fall (eg Wayne State) in my subjective estimation (others may disagree...)

It seems to me there are three prospective customers for these degrees:

    1) BSEET/BSIT-Electronics holders who want a Master's in their field but are normally precluded from MSEE studies without a lot of bridging courses.

    2) BSEE holders who want to learn new Electronics Technologies but who do not want to spend the next few years solving triple integrals as in a typical research-oriented MSEE.

    3) Graduates of related technical disciplines who want to bring themselves up to an Advanced Engineering Technologist level in Electronics - eg Physics, Chemistry or Math grads.

    SCHOOL | DEGREE
    Purdue MSET
    Arizona State MSTech
    Memphis MSET
    North Texas MSET
    Wayne State MSET
    Pittsburg State MSET
    Southern Polytechnic MSET
    Kent State MT
    SUNY-IT MSAT
    North Carolina A&T MSIT
    Indiana State MSECT
    Central Missouri MSIT
    Alabama A&M MSIT

Note: This is a list only of programs which allow an Electronics concentration. There are other MSET/MSIT/MSTEch programs not on this list which allows other concentrations - eg Quality Assurance, Industrial Management, etc.

Typesetter's Note: I can't get formatting any better in the list. There is always just one space between the school and the degree - not matter how many I try to add...
