A bit vague on the residency requirements and whether foreign students are admitted: http://www.brookes.ac.uk/research/odl/index.htm I think that the MA in Practical and Contextual Theology requires short visits at the beginning of each term. Some of the DL degree probrams offered: MA in Practical and Contextual Theology BA in Theology MA/Diploma in English Language Teaching
Hi, I see Oxford Brookes comes in as top of the "new" universities in the UK Sunday Times University Guide. No. 58 out of 123 showing in the list. Regards, Neil
I imagine that the residency requirements vary from program to program. If my memory serves me correctly, external PhD candidates are expected to spend approximately 6 weeks per year in Oxford. The MA in Contextual Theology is structured very much like the MTh in Applied Theology in which I'm enrolled at Spurgeon's College. Brief residency weeks are required at the beginning of each new "module" of study. If my memory serves me correctly, the Oxford Brookes MA requires 4 modules, so one could expect to make 4 separate trips to Oxford (unless one would be able to register for two modules simultaneously and "piggy-back" two consecutive residential weeks).
