i have noticed san juan college offered an interesting course on alternative renewal energy certificate.... i am curious if there are any other institutions that offer similar types of specialties like generating windmills, solar cells, hydrogen cells , etc etc etc ..
Here is a school that has AAS degrees on the stuff that actually works. http://www.bismarckstate.edu/energy/ Nuclear is the best and the cleanest energy available. The nut cases have managed to scare everyone away from what is simply steam power. We don't even market wind, methane, etc. power on the open market. It costs too much to produce. You want enviro friendly power, look at hydro. Absolutely steady Hz rate.
Wayne State University http://www.eng.wayne.edu/page.php?id=1505 offers an Alternative Energy Technology degree, although I don't think it's DL. It does look like a very interesting program.
