I have been attending TESC for about 9 months now in the BSBA program. I have found that it is easier for me to conduct a PLA to verify education rather than taking the actual courses. Through the PLA process I have received about 36 hours worth of credit. When I choose to continue on to my MBA at University of Texas, will my 36 PLA hours transfer or will they remain at TESC?

    thanks

One doesn't transfer from an undergrad to an MBA program - undergrad credit does not typically appear on a graduate transcript as transfer credit.

The question I think you're asking is whether they will accept your PLA to waive "leveling" or "foundation-level" courses.

The answer to that is . . . maybe.

Different schools approach this in differentl ways. Some will only accept coursework from AACSB-accredited institutions for this purpose. Some others will take courses from any RA university. And others will take CLEP, DANTES and other stadnardized tests.

I have never had to deal with your situation on an admissions decision. If you applied to my university's MBA program, I would be inclined to make you take our tests that we have created for those claiming equivalent business experience.
