Ok, this may sound stupid but...

Any Excelsior College grads care to comment on the quality of the diploma you receive? Anyone care to post a scan of theirs?

Also, anyone here have a good/bad looking diploma story they want to share?

The paper's cheap, but the design is nice, and it looks quite good in a frame.

 

Thanks. Also, interesting discussion in that thread about the possible motives behind wanting to see it. I'm in the "if I spend all this time and money I'd like to make sure I'm getting a handsome diploma" camp.

 

The way the diploma looks is not important. I have two diplomas sitting on a shelf in my closet. It’s not that I am not proud of them or that I didn’t work hard to get them; it’s just that the diploma itself is not important. I haven't been asked to produce my diploma one single time.

My transcripts, on the other hand, are a completely different story.

 

So the moral of this story is...

Make sure we pay for good looking transcripts!

 

To some people! Personally, I haven't hung any certificates I've earned on my walls, but I will hang my diploma(s).

But I understand your point.

The moral of this story is to make sure you get good grades. You can't exactly hide grades from future employers on transcripts. Believe me, employers will ask for them.
