Awhile ago I submitted a post about the courses at the Henry George Institute in Political Economy. These are excellent courses which expose the theories of Henry George - During his lifetime, he became the third most famous man in the United States, behind Thomas Edison and Mark Twain. His supporters included Leo Tolstoy, Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill and John Dewey, to name a few.
The Institute has a new course available in addition to the 3 others. Costs is nominal.

"At some point over the last few years, you completed our course in *Understanding Economics*. I hope that was a rewarding experience for you!
Now I'd like to let you know that the next course in our political economy series is online and open for business: *Applied Economics: Globalization and Trade* uses fundamental economic principles to explore today's pressing questions on economic globalization, free trade and national sovereignty.

All lessons and reading materials are available online for free; as with the *Understanding Economics* course, your $15 enrollment fee entitles you to feedback from a trained instructor, and a certificate upon completion.

    all best wishes,

If economics, sociology, theology interest you I'd recommend these courses. They are thought provoking, and the feedback from instructors is excellent.

For more info on the their other courses go to:

No college credit but certificates are awarded.
