I wrote a long babling email about why I am attending Keller the other day and got very little response. http://www.devry.edu/keller/ To try and limit the scope of this posting I am asking for people who have gone/graduated from Keller to let me know what the utility of their degrees were, particularly MBA's and MAFM (Master of Accounting and Financial Management). I am also asking for others who have gone to other non-AASCB schools (including UOP and others) for MBA's and other graduate degrees, what the impact of that has been to their career. Thanks,
I did not attend Keller but taught for Keller for a couple of years at their Long Beach CA campus. I taught project management and procurement courses in the MBA and MPM programs. Most of my students were employees at the majore defense companies in Southern California (Lockheed, Boeing, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, etc). These companies were paying the tuition for these students (big bucks), so I imagine that the Keller degree is somewhat valued by these companies. Keller's degree programs were aimed at the major defense companies located in the area and I believe these degree programs were very well respected in the industry as well.
