It has been officially announced on NCU's website. http://www.ncu.edu/in_the_news.asp?blog_header_id=256
That is very interesting and it definately adds credability to their business programs. Veddy Veddy in-ta-resting.
BinkWile, You’ll have to slow down on the progress of your PhD to make sure you graduate sometime after NCU receives ACBSP accreditation.
Another 18 months??? I'm not sure I could keep my sanity if I did that! In a more serious tone, would the accreditation matter? Would someone who earned their degree beforehand be subject to having their degree deemed "less worthy"?
"Less worthy", I think not. Once the university achieves ACBSP accreditation, your degree will more than likely be looked upon as ACBSP accredited unless someone does a check of the accreditation date as compared to your graduation date. I think it would be really bad if you graduated prior to NCU becoming RA. For me, professional accreditation is a big plus but RA is a must.
Member Institutions This is great news!!! Here is the list of member institutions if you are curious. http://www.acbsp.org/index.php?mo=st&op=ld&sid=s1_025about&stpg=141
