World Information Distributed University -anyone know anything about it? Thay offer International Doctorates -Ph.d and a "Grand "

I skimmed it and it looks like nonsense. The King of Belgium isn't a recognized accreditor (and I don't believe them on that anyway). They mention Switzerland and Russia, both of which are infamous jurisdictions when it comes to nonsense universities.

It doesn't help that their site is in English but they didn't bother to have a fluent speaker proofread it. That itself is often a strong indicator of a scam.

    Steer well clear of this.

I sent them my CV and received this reply:

Professor Robert Ray Hill, PhD, DBA, Academician, ICCIA

International Director of Marketing , Grandview International University has said:

"In the United States, traditional fully recognized PhD would cost around $35,000 following Masters Degree completion . Slightly more than in Russia. Until we can receive significant recognition in the United States, based on the prestige and the significant and high level stature of our faculty, I would say maybe $8,000 to $10,000 for PhD and $10,000 to $12,000 for Grand PhD. I would estimate Full Professor could be worth $5,000 to $7,000 US Dollars. I am very impressed with WIDU and our distinguished faculty of specialists in many academic fields and disciplines. You have worked very hard Sir to establish WIDU "

You can be awarded an International PhD from the WIDU. You have to fulfill the plan:

    1) Application- www.widu.us http://www.widu.us/application

    2) Biography - and Photo (Image JPEG) http://www.widu.us

    3) Payment - $ 8,000 Account name EDUARD EVREINOV

So I was almost a Doctor! Only trouble is I won't be sending them 8 grand so I guess I won't get the degree. I'd expect to be at least a Grand Doctor for that price! (joking)
