Fairfax University: new developments

In response to a reader's inquiry, I've been revisiting Fairfax University, which apparently cannot operate legally in either South Dakota (where they had been using a mailing service) or Louisiana (other than for granting religious degrees). Now (www.fairfaxu.edu) there seems to be an affiliation or connection with something called the American Management and Business Administration Institute, whose only address is a Mailboxes Etc. in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a fax number in California.

I do not doubt the integrity of proprietor Alan Jones (who has an earned Ph.D. from a major British university and other strong academic credentials), but I confess to being quite baffled by what he is up to. I have written to ask.
