He and I have had our runs-ins and we don't agree politically but we are both proponents of DL and he provides some very good insight so I care about him.

What's the latest? I hope he is doing OK and recovering from whatever it is that he is suffering from.

    Thanks,

    Hey, Lajazz,

On another threat someone asked what employment prospects would be for a D/L J.D.who'd passed the California Bar.

I don't recall whether you took your J.D. when Western State was still a CalBar school or whether it had received ABA approval. But if the former, could you give us some idea what, if any, limitations the non ABA degree might have had on your employability?

I know a Glendale grad who has worked as an attorney for county government down there for years. She says that there's an attitude that doesn't help her much. But I shared office space once with a LaVern grad who was completely unaware that his J.D. wasn't ABA until he applied to the New Mexico Bar. (He had five years of practice experience in California so we let him take (and pass) our Bar anyway.)
