I am a manager who is interested in the M.S. Managerial Science degree at Amberton University.

After having read all posts on this site concerning Amberton, I noticed Dr. Bear only references Amberton in a very old post concerning the name change from Amber to Amberton.

In addition, I noticed that Amberton is not listed in any of Dr. Bear's books--past or present (Dr. Bear's daughter's latest books on distance education).

Considering that Amberton has regional accreditation and is comparatively inexpensive, is there a reason for these omissions?

I have the utmost respect and admiration for Dr. Bear. I welcome his comments as well as the comments of others from this fine forum.

    Thanks All

Amber(ton) has been talked about MANY times on this forum, but the search function does not seem to be working.

When I was first looking for an MBA program, I considered them, but they never returned any of my emails, so I gave up. That was many years ago, so things have probably changed since then.

    Correction...

After close scrutiny I discovered that, sure enough Mariah Bear listed Amberton University in the 2006 Bear's Guide to Distance Learning, 16th edition.

    My apology.
