    Hi
I was curious if anyone knows of any RA schools online that offer Math above the 100 level, for undergraduates. I am in the Military Stationed Overseas and our ed center doesnt offer anything above that. So if you wish to pursue a degree your limited to programs such as Management, Accounting, etc etc. I feel its part of the mans play to keep the enlisted in the trenches. I'd appreciate any information anyone can give and by doing so your not only help me but your nation. :)

    Advanced level Maths

Yes, you can have Advanced level Maths at the CANADIAN University of Waterloo, a top university where Microsoft goes to recruit staff.
    Good luck !

Athabasca University offers mathematics above the 100-level. The caveat, however, is the tuition for non-Canadian residents is higher than many students are willing to pay. These courses are as academically challenging as the equivalent on-campus courses; in other words, you learn the subject matter. With the favourable exchange rate between US and Canadian currency Athabasca University might be worth consideration.

    Greetings Ohmboy,

    Regarding your recent post:

    a) I'm not sure I'd call college math classes above the freshman level "advanced."

    b) Some colleges (AFAIK) have blurred the distinction between freshman (i.e., 100 level) and sophomore (i.e., 200 level) courses.

    c) Of the first three colleges on my go-to list that I tried, all three have some upper level math classes (though not necessarily ones that will appeal to you). While finding math classes that interest you may be a problem, simply finding upper level math classes offered by distance/independent study/etc. shouldn't be.

    d) I don't know why you specified "online" classes. Personally, I generally find traditional (paper) correspondence classes far more convenient.

    Three colleges to try:
(Links to math class listings; classes in other subjects are also available)
    Brigham Young University:

    Ohio University:

You may want to also consider Testing out of Calculus.

Usually, the Calculus sequence follows Math 1xx courses and is a natural progression towards topics like Linear Algebra.

    Hope this helps...

Also, according to Lawrie you may be well served to look at Ohio University.

Man, Lawrie is something isn't she?

You made the same assumption as I did for several years. Lawrie is a guy (I was thinking Laurie).
