I'm not a student, but most of the students I've heard from over the past 3-4 years describe the program as pleasant and, frankly, less difficult than expected. You probably know this, but AJU does have a "lower tier" of accreditation than Jones--Jones is regionally accredited, AJU is DETC-accredited. If you'd prefer to hear about other regionally accredited options, you might start a new thread on this subject. Good luck! Peace, ------------------ Tom Head www.tomhead.net
I'm a little surprised to hear your impression of Jones. I took several courses there two years ago and thought they were outstanding. Is it the course content, the work, or the instruction that is not working for you? Too many times instructors/profs just don't know how to effectively teach online. If the course content and workload are comparable to the same course in a traditional setting, then perhaps a letter to the dean may be in order if the instruction is poor. Keep in mind also that poor instruction occurs in well over half the courses in traditional programs too I guess what I'm trying to say is to make sure of your reasons for wanting to switch colleges before taking an irrevocable action. There is no guarantee that the courses or the instruction will be any better.
