    Interesting:

"The equivalent to a one-semester course, Financial Accounting will replace the Principles of Accounting exam, which currently covers two semesters of knowledge—Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting."

Hopefully they'll also offer one in Managerial Accounting, then.

Well that makes sense as a for profit company. This and the changes to the algebra/trig exam fit together.
If they are really looking to increase revenue they should create some upper level tests and go head to head with DSST.

They're not a for profit company. CLEP is a service of the non-profit College Board. I suppose they often act pretty commercial, though....

They definitely do act commercial...they market the hell out of their Official CLEP guide book when there are much better study guides out there. They also sell exam reviews in a PDF for $10 when you can get the whole book of 20+ exams for $20 bucks or less.

That was my point, hard to do sarcasm on the web.

They do act like a for profit - but sometimes the only difference is how well you run your business :)

I do think their tests set a base line for many topics, and I would really like them to cover a few more upper level while they are at it.
