Here is a document received from Penn Foster . " To be enrolled in our Associate degree programs, you MUST provide proof you have COMPLETED a high school program or the equivalent education. To show PROPER proof of high school completion or equivalent education, include one of the following : . Copy of high school transcript showing date of SUCCESSFUL completion . Copy of a GED or high school diploma . Copy of college transcript IF it clearly shows your high school completion information. . Copy of SAT scores showing minimum scores of 450 in both Math and English . Copy of ACT scores showing minimum composite score of 15 . Copy of an official HOME-SCHOOLING completion document from the AUTHORIZED schooling supervisor PLUS a copy of standardized test scores " I invite comments of members of the Forum.
450 for SAT in both sections? All you need to do just write down your information, and you already automatically receive 400 for both. I am sure a monkey can get higher score than that.
All I had to do was send a copy of my high school transcripts and I was in. Penn Foster is definately open enrollment. I mean, c'mon...we're not talking about Harvard here.
"Copy of college transcript IF it clearly shows your high school completion information." So...if someone has graduated from college but not high school, he or she would not have high school completion info on their college transcript. Therefore, one can graduate from college and still not be qualified for Penn Foster. Hmmmm.
Really? I was under the impression that after so many college classes/credits you would not need a HSD or GED. Humm, now that is strange.
You mean I can't get in to Penn Foster with the EBS MBA? I was really looking forward to signing up for the gunsmith program. (EBS doesn't require a high school or bachelors for those who don't get the joke.)
Judging by this list a high school diploma has absolutely no importance at all. A high school diploma is not required. In fact, you don't even need a GED if you can meet the SAT or ACT requirements. -Travis
ROFL !!!!!!!!!! EBS?? for my own selfish reasons.. Penn Foster is RA or trying to go that way, no? BANG !!!!!!!!!!
Actually I think Penn Foster is RA for their vocational programs, and only DETC for their degree programs.
