    Hey,
I have been following this site for a while and am now looking to take some tests. I have been going to TESC last year but will do the rest by testing out and then enroll at COSC.
The problem is that i live in Europe for the next year or so and taking a Clep or Dantes here is not easy. Basically the only place reasonable is in the UK and it cost too much. Plus they only offer testing 2 days a year!!

SO i will coming over this fall for 2 weeks and taking as many tests as i can. I will be in either NYC or Portland, OR.
Is there a limit on how many test i take at a site per day? I think i remember one have a rule about 2 a day. If i took some easy ones i was hoping to do 3+. So i was thinking about doing 2 at one site and then going to another in the afternoon and doing another there....

ALso do sites charge thier own test fees as well as the Clep and Dantes test fees....

Thanks for any info you can give....

I took 3 or 3 a day without questions. I was in the Army reserve so they were free. One thing to ask when setting up the tests is to find out if they have the tests on site (if the old paper and pencil are used).

I have taken the CLEP's at a college and they charged $15 per test on top of the test fee. Good luck.

Which tests are you going to take? How many credits do you need?

Well, i am not sure excatly what tests i have to take since i i havent found out what Cosc wants vs Tesc. I have alot of electives to take and i know i need a math. Hoping the College Math will do, which from what Cosc's site says it will be ok.
I think i have about 50 credits left for a BS.

I am hoping to be able to do or attempt at least half of those this fall when i am there for 2 weeks.
I took several Teceps and passed all except the Research in Pysch which i didnt study for either.

In Portland there are a several places to test from to i should be able to take a bunch......
Just not sure of strategy i should take... Take a test every day or take 2 a day every other or 3 every 3 days...

I am going to sign up for the instantcert here soon and will have 4-5 months to study on...

    Thanks for the info

I am ot sure about DANTES because I took only one test a day; and administered by Military Education Site.

For CLEP; contact University of Phoenix, one of their campus. Talk to the test administrator; you can take 1 test for every two hours....for 12 hours a day. And come back for the next day.

They don't care how many test you take, as long as you pay $55.00 for the test, and $15.00 administration fee for each exam.

GOOD LUCK. I recommend the the University of Phoenix - San Marcos, San Diego. The guy is really nice....

how many you take depends on where you take them

    some places are open 9 - 5, others 9 - 9

some place a limit on the number you can take, some don't

CLEP and DANTES don't really care

Biology, Analyzing Literature, College Math, Econ 1 and 2 are doable for 24 credits in two days

French, Spanish or German are 6 - 12 credits each, you're in Europe so I'm guessing you speak one of these and could pass easily?
