    Hi guys,

I have a bachelors degree in IT but I 'm working as a teller in a bank and I think that I would love to get a career in banking industry. But definitely I want to move to a higher position ( can't be teller for good) So I was thinking of MBA. Will it help? Can I get admission in MBA with my teller experience or not is a big question for me. Please help .

    1). Where do you live?

2). How well did you do in UG?

3). How many years experience in the bank?

If you are set on an MBA, then go for it. However, if you are open to suggestions, get a Masters degree in Accounting. If you do, you won't have to look for work; work will come looking for you.

Click on "Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Demands IS Involvement" at: www.gartner.com/research/spotlight/asset_52231.jsp

As an educator and academic advisor, I cannot stress the value of the IT/Accounting combination. What with regulators' concerns with money laundering, terrorism, securities fraud, etc., individuals who understand information systems and the financial information stored on and transmitted over them are worth their weight in platinum.

    Your mileage may vary.
