    Hi there

I have studied at one of the largest distance universities that is a really good one.

Actually I would like to enrol at some other institution for post master level studies to bring some diversity in the cv, but unfortunately my academic transcript is not complete/incorrect and the title of qualification does not match either.

    Here is the story.

    1)
I started with studies that was named "advanced diploma in X".
This advanced diploma was not on university but on national level.

    2)
Then this advanced diploma was upgraded on university level (which was higly appreciated). A new student number was assigned.
But: only those courses from this upgrade level onwards are listed on my transcript. (This is my fault to a high extend, because I studied for long...).

    3)
Next step in the story: During end of the studies to completion of my advanced diploma, a notification came, that is is renamed for all new students from the next academic year to "Higher Diploma ". (That is actually a pretty cool thing, but I thought well too late...).

However, at the graduation ceremony I was issued with the Higher Diploma in X. Surprise. Great.

    But:
Now all I got from the registrar is a transcript for
the "Advanced Diploma in X" with only those courses listed that were passed from point 2) onwards.

And an additional bonmot: one of the subjects name was changed from "teaching practice" into field-study.

Within the same instituion I can register for higher degrees, but it seems impossible to change to another university.

I tried to contact many admin staff, but to no avail. Either the emails were ignored or forwarded and no further response. Phone seems also not possible because I am referred to explain this matter per mail.

Did anybody else experience something like that, and if so, how was this problem solved?

    Cheers

    Mattie
