Masters of Education Administration

I am looking to take a Masters of Education Administration (or another Masters of Education degree with a similarly administrative focus) and I'm wondering if anyone out there has any advice or suggestions.

I would prefer to enroll in a Canadian University, but if the program specifications are right, I have no problems enrolling just about anywhere. I would also prefer to deal with mostly online correspondence, as I'm living in South Korea and the mail moves slowly.

A thesis is a must for any program I would consider enrolling in. I would be happy to do a 6 month residency somewhere, if necessary, in order to complete a thesis.

I would also like to know if anyone out there has taken a distance Masters of Education degree, and what the result was. Did you have any problems finding employment? Did any one glance askance after learning your degree was completed via a distance program? Have you had any problems subsequently applying for a doctorate program? Did anyone even ask?
