    Hello all,
I just wanted to share with everyone my experience with my first 12 hours at Liberty University. I finished 6 hours already and am in the process of obtaining my next 6. Two classes started in January, 1 in February and one just started but all were in the same semester.

Anyway, I have had the most terrific professors. They have been so understanding. One class in particular where I had to interview a pastor at a church then write an essay. I wrote to five churches, two waited about a week and then told me they wished they could help but couldn't. Then two others said they would help and I never heard from them. I finally learned that someone at my job was a pastor and I interviewed him. My professor was so understanding. The class was supposed to end on Feb. 26th but I did not get the answers I needed for my paper until this week. I got the answers I needed and wrote my paper in one day. I received a 96. During all the time I was waiting to hear from a church, I continued to write my professor every day telling him that I was trying with no success.. He was so understanding and told me that he would wait on me.

It has been a great first 12 hours and I hope that the rest of my time at Liberty will be the same. :)

Thank's for the report. Good to hear. Good luck with your studies.

BTW...are you in the Seminary or University? What's your degree and major?

    Hi again, Mom of 5!

Glad to hear such a heartwarming report. I'm still curious about the way things go at Liberty (DL) for a psychology major with an associate degree. That's my situation, too.

Really curious if you have been told how many courses are you need to have completed in the religious studies area before they let you register for advanced psyc. courses? I'm asking this because, at almost 55 years of age, I'd really like to complete at least the equivalent of a minor in psychology before I have to work on filling out the rest of Bachelor degree requirements.
(Planning to put all new-found knowledge to immediate use!)

Thanks for filling us in! Again, I am so pleased that this is going to work for you!

    Liberty University

I am going for my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I have no college hours, so I am starting at the beginning. I need to check my degree plan to see exactly how many hours of religion I need to take. But I have found that the religious courses are not that bad. :)
