Hi everyone, For fun I would like to learn Spanish and German. Can anyone recommend a good cheap online course in either language at the beginner and intermediate level? Thanks! Rhonda
Hi, Rhonda! I knew from somewhere way mass deep in the recesses of my memory that I had composed a list of Spanish courses for Abner awhile back and it took me awhile to excavate through the archives to find the darn thing, but here it is: http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20265 .

Well, if it's just for fun, why not just take some FREE online courses in Spanish or German? They will accomplish the same thing as the paid courses. There is even a series of free online Spanish videos HERE
Rhonda, if you learn Spanish, you can easily learn afterwards Italian, Portuguese, French, etc... as they are basically the same! Good luck!
on german and spanish for free go to www.learner.org or annenberg its on freeuniv.com that site has the annenberg website which has french , german and spanish online for free
