SATS Doctor of Theology?

Has anyone heard an update on the accreditation process for the DTh?
They said it would be early 2006 but nothing on their site states any new news.

 

You might go look up our august former Senior Member the good Rev. Dr. Jimmy Clifton (4000+ posts) over at degreeboard www.degreeboard.com or degreediscussion www.degreediscussion.com or Distance Education www.aimoo.com (go to search function in the bottom left corner and type in 'Distance Education'). He posts regularly on the progress of the proposed new Doctor of Theology programs at South African Theological Seminary.

Thank you most sincerely for your emailed enquiry.
We have heard from the Council on Higher Education that they will be arriving in the next month or so for the site visit. Once the paper based evaluation and the site visit are complete we should hear regarding their recommendation to the Dept of Education regarding our accreditation status. Once we are accredited we will wait to hear from the Dept regarding our registration of the qualification. They will then issue a certificate to allow us to start enrolling students.
I have placed you on our enquiry list and will forward all news to you as we receive it. Should you require further assistance at any stage please please do not hesitate to contact me.
