I'm considering CIE-WC's BEET, but there isn't the word science in that degree. So would it be possible to continue further education? This is their top degree at this time. They have DETC accreditation and there is some connection with IEEE. They are eligible for military tuition assistance too, that's a big improvement over the last school I was looking at. So they can't be all bad. Or can they? Jim
I was unaware the Cleveland Institute had a Bachelor's degree. Neither their own website nor the DETC website mentions it. In any event, as has been pointed out here in other contexts, DETC-accredited degrees have much lower acceptance in the academic world than regionally accredited ones (roughly 40% as much); probably higher in the world of business and industry. So if it is an Associate's, this could restrict where you might go on for a Bachelor's. John Bear www.degree.net
John, the BEET program is described on the World College pages, http://www.cie-wc.edu/WorldCollege/Main.html The DETC listing for World College is separate from that of CIE for some reason, and is located near the bottom, next to Azaliah. ------------------ Bill Gossett
