    Hello everyone,
Remember me. I started with Liberty University in January to obtain my bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have to admit that so far all is going rather well. I am taking 12 hours this semester. I just finished two 8 week classes and have started the other two 12 week classes. I should be done with them by the end of May. I just wanted to stop by and say hello and to thank everyone for their valuable advise. Take care and I will write in again soon.

    Hey mom of 5,

Great to see you movin' on!!

So, come back soon with details, ok?

I've looked at Liberty over and over again, but really want to hear from somebody that knows about how it goes at Liberty in psychology.

I contacted the school (they have admissions live chat). Was told that students can take pscyhology courses even before they complete the (staggering) 18 hours of gen. ed. in religion and theology etc.

Something about their B.S. Degree program that seems like it wouldn't work for folks with an associate degree is having to take these 100 and 200 level courses anyway, in lieu of 300 or 400 level courses, to comply with the school's religious mission.

I'm curious how that ends up working....

I also wonder how they do their 8 week classes - is it heavy-duty writing papers, or a balance of online quizzes and tests?

    Keep on keeping on, mom!
