Folks who are NCU learners: given that NCU doesn't participate in Title IV anymore, how does this affect deferrments of existing Title IV loans from other schools?

Do they participate in the clearinghouse?

    Are there any hassles?

Good question...I would like to know the answer to this as well as I will be starting my PhD at NCU (hopefully) within the year and would love to have my federal student loans deferred until the PhD is done.

I think it depends on your loan holder. However, based on my personal experience Title IV loans will not be deferred if you attend a school that does not participate in the program.

I have read your post that is given by you.. It is very nice question. How does this affect deferments of existing Title IV loans from other schools? I think it is depending on the person that takes a loan. If you attend the school or college that is not participated in the moment of NCU then the title IV loans can not deferred you.
