I'd be lying if I told you that I really enjoy spending all my free time writing papers (and more papers) and reading through professional journals looking for material, but it's all about the future and what a DBA will offer. The sacrifices of today will hopefully reap rewards tomorrow. For me, the hardest part is the very begining of a writing project -- where I have no idea what I'm going to write because I don't know anything about the assigned topic. That is the part I dread the most. Once I start reviewing the literature -- and start finding some worthwhile material to write about -- then it becomes easier. But the hardest hurdle is the first one -- the very begining of each project.
