Waiting for the CLEP

How long on average does it take between the time you register for the CLEP and the time you take the test?
And will they settle for one photo ID?

It depends on where you take the exam. I take CLEP's at the local community college. Usually, if I call during the week, they schedule me for a Saturday. So to answer your question, it is a matter of days. If I recall correctly, there is a CLEP form you can dowload, then you just fill it out and take it to the testing center.

The nice thing about CLEPS is that you find out your score on the spot, the day of the test.

And yes, I usually just show a drivers license. When you schedule your appointment to take the CLEP, they should tell you exactly what to bring.
