Hi, I am looking for an online Masters degree in Advertising. The only one I have found so far is Syracuse. Are there any others besides Capella, Walden, AIU, Academy of Art, etc. out there by chance? Thanks. p.s. I have checked the search engine here but no luck..
Bears' Guide to Earning Degrees by Distance Learning lists an MA Advertising via DL from Madurai Kamaraj University www.mkuniversity.org , though, unfortunately, I have heard reports that one might have to be a citizen or resident of India to take advantage of this one. Of course, one might check to see for sure or even try the "bending the rules" approach. Barron's Guide to Distance Learning lists an MA Advertising via DL on offer from Michigan State University www.vu.msu.edu . Marcie Thorson's guide lists a master's in advertising & public relations from the University of Alabama http://ualvm.ua.edu/~cstudies/disted.html . Mercy College http://merlin.mercy.edu offers an MS in Direct Marketing. Hopefully, something will work out for you.
Advertising Degree - Just Curious I have always been curious what Advertising Degree could be used for. In a way, I have always been interested in Advertising in the sense of marketing a certain theme, agenda, etc. Where would I find more info on this?
Instead of searching for "MA in Advertising" try doing a Google search for "MA in Integrated Marketing Communications" which covers a lot of the same ground. West Virginia University has a completely online MA in IMC program. Golden Gate University also offers an online IMC program, as well as an IMC certificate.
