    Hi all,
Just received the Universit of London Msc in Financial economics degree. However,I wonder why it does not come with the transcript.?is it usual inthe UK system?

In Addition,I am also given the choice whether to follow either the graduation od UOL,which is held in march or the college(SOAS) graduation in June?if you were me,which one do you prefer.

    Thanks
    Eric

Hi Eric - When I received my university degrees (3) I was given a single sheet of paper, my diploma. The transcripts were readily available but I had to make a specifc request for them. Did you do this?

    Hi Eric,

For details about transcipts please see this page. In the UK most students never see their transcript (I've certainly never seen mine - even though I went on to further studies).

My guess is that there's won't be a lot of difference between the ceremonies. So I'd say choose the one that suits you best - would you rather be over here for Spring or Summer?

However as an aside, this year Senate House is being rewired, which means that on the External System graduation happening in March '06 we won't be able to run our usual group tours of the buildings and hold the evening reception in Senate House (instead the reception will take place at the Barbican - where the degree ceremony takes place).

    All the best,

    Brendan

    Hey Eric,

Congratulations on completing the degree. I am starting the Msc program in Financial Economics in April and am delighted to see someone else on this board who has taken the program.

If you dont mind, could you share a little insight on the rigour of the program. Was it extremely difficult, moderately hard etc??..How much time was needed per week on average, and how were the exams?

Also, does it mention SOAS on your diploma at all?

I would really appreciate your insight!

    Hi Brendan,
thanks for your input.I might be there on the graduation held by SOAS as it suits more for me.

    For Elyko
the diploma doesn't state the Soas but it state that the you have passed the degree through the external program.
the courses and exams have been quite demanding but you'll be generally be alright if you can do the specimen exam.(usually around 4 or 5 question in the exams are reflected on the specimen exam :) )so please besure you study the speciment.

    Anyway thanks for your input.
