Another thread explored the cheapest lower level RA courses...what school offers the cheapest upper level RA courses (no particular discipline or format)?
Most schools charge the same for undergraduate courses regardless of whether they are lower-division or upper-division. I've always thought the University of Wyoming's Outreach School was a pretty good deal. Their correspondence and independent study classes are $92/credit hour plus an $11/credit hour delivery fee for a total of $103/credit hour. Online classes are $92/credit hour plus a $40/credit hour technology fee for a total of $132/credit hour. So, for a three hour class, you pay $309 to take it via correspondence, or $396 to take it online. If you're a resident of North Carolina, East Carolina University offers its distance courses for $73/credit hour plus $15.00/credit hour in fees, totaling $264 for a three hour course. If you live out of state, however, the cost jumps to $1329 per course! Most of North Carolina's public universities have similar pricing. --Fortunato
I took a couple of courses from BYU at about $330 for a 3-unit course. One course was demanding while the other very easy.
