I will be taking the human growth and development clep test, and I'm currently using Human development by Diane Papalia and instantcert, has anyone used these resources and have tips for this clep exam? Thanks
I have taken this exam. I used Barron's EZ-101 Study Keys in Psychology and the Official CLEP study guide. These materials alone scored me a 68. A lot of it is common sense. It also helped that I had a baby recently and have read a little about human development out of curiousity. A large portion of the test covers birth to about age 15. Be familar with Erickson's and Piaget's life stages. Good luck! Rhonda
Re: Re: Human growth and development tips Rhonda I just ordered Barron's EZ 101 study keys for pyschology, what areas in the book do I need to read to prepare for the human growth and development clep exam? Did the book cover eveything for teh clep exam? Thanks Dex
Dexter, I also recommend getting the Official CLEP study Guide in addition to the Barron's book. You will encounter many on the same types of questions on the exam. With these two books, you should do fine. Rhonda
I used Instacert for approx. 1 hour the day before the test and scored in the low 70s. Overall, I though this was a pretty easy exam. Good luck. -Travis
