I don't think this has gained any notice here, but it should.

Did you know that those PBS late-night course lectures are available as Video On Demand via the internet? Toogether with many many more!

Yes - you can brush up on foreign language, science, social science, art history, and many many math courses (often as easy K-12 material) from where you are right now!

It's free. They can help you prepare for CLEP, DANTES, ECE and TECEP exams.

    Sign up here gratis:

Click on series and look for the [VoD] icon.

Anyone use them? Post comments on this thread if you have.

PS for many people on threads concerning the above exams, this should be your first or second stop in preparing.

I'm a big fan of the Annengerg site and use it quite often. I have it listed in my thread entitled "Free Online Courses", which lists several other free courses and study resources that can be accessed online.

    JUST A FRIENDLY SUGGESTION

Orson, you might consider posting this link on:

    http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?threadid=21709

That's the thread on "FREE ONLINE COURSES."

It's a great thread, and I and others have suggested that the admin here should consider making it a sticky considering the value of the information provided.

In any case thank you for the info and the link!!!!!

No need. That link is already part of the thread.
