Penn State online Project Management

Has anyone here completed the MS in Project Management or the Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Penn State? If so, can you give me your general thoughts about the program and the amount of time you spent each week working on assignments?

I've been following this one closely as well as a credential to add on the way to a PMP. One cautionary note though......did you catch the requirement to attend the "2 day residency" at the beginning of each semester?

This shouldn't be a big deal for Rhonda since she is already in Pennsylvania. If I were coming from some other place - say, San Antonio - the cost and hassle of attending a 2-day residency each semester would present much more of a problem.

 

I thought the same thing, but one of their residencies this year in is Indianapolis, Indiana! That is a big bummer. Penn State doesn't even include room and board for the residency in the tuition fees either...

That is a bummer. You would think a degree from Penn State would mean the state of Pennsylvania. I never heard of PSU having a branch campus in Indiana.

On the other hand, it is a degree from PSU which would speak volumes on a resume.
