I printed and completed my application to Unisa for the DBL. I wrestled with NCU and NOVA but since I just want the Doctorate for my consulting business I just could not see soending so much money for an RA degree. I also think that I could still teach with a Unisa degee along with the rest of my CV.

I was able to navigate through all the registration waters with the help of ADLC whom I found out about here on Degree Info.

My thanks to all who have put up with my endless posts wondering where to study for my Doctorate.

My only question and I think that it has been answered is " Do I actually have to travel to Unisa" and the answer SEEMS to be no.

This will be the deciding factor although with all the testing centers here in the US and one in Los Angeles as well as the fact that they tout all the new technology it seems as though I would not have to travel.

Anyone have any experience with this program or any Doctoral program at Unisa and can you tell me if you had to travel or was it negotiable?

    Thanks.

    UNISA

Congrats and best of luck to you in your doctoral studies.

There are a couple of people on this forum who have first-hand experience with UNISA. Perhaps they will chime in.

UNISA seems to be one of those schools that is often asked about. I hope you'll share your experiences.

Nobody worth their salt on this board would resent "endless posts" from someone looking for help with an important choice such as this; no apology necessary.

My sincere congratulations on this momentous decision.
