What percent of graduates actually have their degree from the Ivy League schools?

For years (going back to AED), I've noticed an infatuation with Ivy league schools. I was just wondering if anyone had ever done the math to see the ratio of Ivy leaguers verses the rest of us low-brow grads. :)

My uninformed hunch / guess is this: There is a very low ratio of Ivy'ers. If true, this would imply a couple of things:

    - There are few Ivy'ers to overwhelm / dominate the job market. (In other words, there are lots of great jobs available for low-browers. :)

    - We probably place too much emphasis on prestige degrees. (In other words, the prestige is real, but doesn't have much impact in day-to-day life for the bulk of us low-browers. :)

Of course, all this is totally uninformed with any facts whatsoever. Just a hunch. Whacha all think??
