Without a transfer of credits this will be tough. I have a couple of questions though, does it need to be RA or is NA good enough? The solution is much easier if NA will work.

http://www.calcoast.edu/ is the cheapest in the shortest amount of time followed by

    www.southwest.edu

www.aju.edu is nice too, but they require minimum time constraints, about 18 months.

you also have www.ashworthcollege.com but good luck getting anything done through them in 15 months.

As for RA, AIU is the fastest I've seen, but they've been having a lot of problems of late with their accreditation.

Try Northcentral Univeristy. First of the month start dates. You can do it if you go non-stop 13 or 14 months but be prepared to work hard.

It is very difficult to get an MBA in 15 months with a business related undergraduate degree. Having to take leveling(foundation) courses makes it that much more difficult. I'm not sure of any program that can be done in <15 months when you factor in the other courses. I'd say try AIU, they may be your best bet to get it done so expediously(http://www.aiuonline.edu/). I normally would recommend them for a variety of reasons, like their cost and the fact they are on probation with SACS but I think it may be your best bet if you want it fast.

In theory, you could finish the MBA from Heriot Watt http://www.ebsglobal.net/ in as little time as you wish. You don't even need an undergrad degree to be accepted to the program. The courses are self-paced, but you are totally on your own . I believe with HW, you study the courses at your own pace, and then take a series of "all or nothing" tests. If you pass the tests, you get your MBA. I think you get all of the course materials at once.

HW is no joke. I have read it is a very difficult program and the tests are brutal. However, HW is well-respected, although perhaps a bit unknown in the U.S.

Ellis College NYIT has a program that you can take courses every 6 weeks. Completed on line no exams and it is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. I am currently doing the HW degree and I would suggest that if you are going to do this one you will need to really know your stuff.

    Good Luck!

Is AIU still on probation?. How come it doesn't say that on their website. I know someone who is attending AIU, but he doesn't know that it is on probation. Isn't this bad for the people who were attending when it was put on probation.

A few DL MBA programs that you can graduate in from 1 year to 18 months that readily pop to mind include: American Military University www.apus.edu , Baker College www.baker.edu , California State University Dominguez Hills www.csudh.edu , and City University www.cityu.edu , although I am sure there are many others out there.

There are some full-time programs that will meet your 15 month expectation - but many full-time programs take longer.

Question - Besides your time constraint - what other factors are you looking for in an MBA? I suspect that short program may involve compromises in your education. Most good things in life take time...

    Regards - Andy

So Steve, how do you *really* feel about AIU?

Is AIU still on probation?. How come it doesn't say that on their website.

Because "We suck!" is ineffective marketing.

I know someone who is attending AIU, but he doesn't know that it is on probation. Isn't this bad for the people who were attending when it was put on probation.

Yes, but it's hard to feel a lot of sympathy for people who did so little research that they paid a fortune for AIU when there are less expensive alternatives with better reputations and the same open admissions policy.

Dear me! Did any of their marketers really say that?

No, SACS did. Of course, I'm paraphrasing.

    Cheers,

    Kalela,

I am considering Columbia Southern University www.colsouth.edu and Ashworth College www.ashworthcollege.edu for my MBA education. The price is very attractive and the coursework appears to be rigourous, yet managable.

These programs are both self-paced with Ashworth giving you up to 6 months to finish a course and Columbia Southern giving you 10 weeks to finish each course. Courses are taken one at a time, but you can speed up the process if you'd like. Minimum time to completion is 12 months, I believe, for both.

They are both DETC accredited, however, so if Regional Accreditation is something of importance to you, look further.
