Does anyone know of a 1-credit hour science lab that can be completed on-line from a regionally accredited college, community college or university?

If not...what about an on-line science with a lab? 3 or 4 credit hour class? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

    Duff,

The school that I am attending (National University) offers a science lab called "Survey of Bioscience Lab - SCI100A." The associated course for this lab is "Survey of Bioscience - SCI100." I'm not sure if you can take the lab without taking the associated science course too. But it's worth a try. National University is an RA school located in California. They have many programs available online. At $1044/4.5q.u. course, the tuition is a bit pricey. Of course, for the 1.5 q.u. (or 1 s.u.) Science lab, the cost to you would only be $232.

    Good luck!

it probably would be cheaper to go to a community college and just take the lab .....

"Examines the basis of biology in the modern world and surveys the current knowledge and conceptual framework of the discipline. Explores biology as a science - a process of gaining new knowledge - as is the impact of biological science on society. Includes laboratory experiences. Designed for non-science majors."

I took the above course but there are also courses for science majors with lab component. My credit was transcripted through Pikes Peak CC.

Coastline Community College has a few Distance Learning Lab courses available. This is where I received my AA degree from and it is a great school and program. And since it is a Community College it is way cheaper then National University. Here is a link to the Distance Learning site.
