I need some help chasing down an MBA that will award maximum transfer credit (and facilitate a quick graduation). I've narrowed it to the following:

Excelsior.edu (out of my 58 unused graduate Business credits - they still require me to take 7 classes - bummer!)
Aspen.edu (6 classes required - but no additional credit for PMP since maxed out transfer alotment of 18 credits)
    ColSouth.edu (6 classes required - 18 credits transferred)
    cchs.edu (6 classes required - 18 credits transferred)

I have talked to my original schools (UW-Madison and Colorado State) about possibly 'finishing up' with them - but to no avail (both programs have changed significantly since I attended).

Which brings me to my question: are there any other MBAs that I should be considering? That is, are there any other MBAs that would award 50% or more transfer credit resulting in a completion in 6 or less classes.

Also, I'm flexible about DETC, RA, or ASIC accreditation...as well as cost (employer pays).

    Thank you in advance!

I think you'll find it very difficult to find any graduate program that allows you to transfer a lot of credits toward an MBA or Master's degree unless you are pursuing a degree in Liberal Studies to something along those lines. My guess would be to try and work something out with the existing schools and see which one you could get done the quickest. If there are any programs that allow for many credits toward an MBA I'd be very surprised.

American Military University accepts 15 semester hours of graduate credit and has an MBA program.

In this case I have only found one school (but of course have not searched all) and it was a B&M school (U of Hawaii) that accepted a maximum of just less than half, 23 hours I believe, as opposed to all others I looked at that had a max of 6-9 hours transfer credits allowed.

It would be interesting to hear what you decide upon.
