COSC Question

Does anybody happen to know if COSC will give credit for DANTES Human Resources Management lower level credit, and also the Excelsior Human Resources Management Exam for Upper level credit? Or would this be considered duplicative? I guess to be more exact, could you obtain 3 lower level credits and 3 upper level credits? 6 total.

I suspect this would be considered duplicate. When in doubt, contact the school. I completed my BS degree through Charter Oak and found all of their staff members to be very helpful.

 

Good question:

HR Management - Excesior Exam - 3 Credits - Upper
HR Management - DANTES (Minimum Score 46) - 3 Credits - Lower

I dont see anything in their catalog that specifies, but the fact that they differentiate one as upper, it might be possible to get Upper Level for the ECE and electives for the DANTES.

 

Yeah, that's what I am thinking.

Based on my experience with COSC...call them and get it from "the horses mouth"!!

 

I took DANTES HRM and it was my understanding that they were considered duplicate with the Excelsior exam. As noted give a call or email. Good luck Abner!

 

Thanks, I will make sure and check with COSC. If one or the other is duplicate, I would rather do the ECE so I could get Upper level credit.
