Distance Education at Yahoo Groups and Yahoo Clubs

I have investigated Yahoo Groups and Yahoo Clubs and have found the following groups. These seem to be the most interesting of, say, over 100 dealing with "distance education," etc. I tried to search communities.msn.com, but was unable to search the site for some reason. Manually going through their "Universities and Colleges" list is impossible, because there are over 6,000 entries. Both Yahoo and MSN should help you with information about particular institutions. Anyway, the material below should have something for everyone who visits degreeinfo. Take a look at as many as you want to subscribe to, or as will have you. Much to chew on:

I started the AltEducationDistance group simply as a stopgap until Chip got this board up and running. The group hasn't been active for quite awhile, and the only reason I haven't deleted it is because the links section keeps all my DL bookmarks in logical order.

Particularly interesting that some of the most dreadful schools, such as Rushmore and American World, have "groups", undoubtedly started by, and probably seeded with, shills of the programs themselves.

It might be fun to sign up for a couple of the more awful ones and create a little havoc by spreading truth.
