I see an IP Logged link at the end of each message. What is this?

    Here's how it works:
    1) you make a post about any topic.
    2) your IP address is logged in a database.
    3) Lewchuck replies about BA in 4 week.

The BBS software tracks the IP address from which a given post originates. However, it doesn't store it in a database; it's part of the history of the specific thread. The admins, therefore, can't do any wholesale searches based on IP or anything like that.

It's a built-in feature of the BBS software that is part of the back-end security functions.
