Surely someone can muster up something negative to say about this.

Interestingly, it does seem that positive news or information related to Touro rarely draws much acknowledgement or discussion; I’m not sure why. Perhaps positive news is just not that interesting or controversial of a topic overall.

Indeed, this is the first that I’ve read about a new Touro campus scheduled to open in Rome. However, the arrangement and facilities certainly look impressive, as does the seemingly strong endorsement and support by what I consider to be a rather impressive group of people including: President Gasbasarra of the Province of Rome, Italy; Mayor Leodori of Zagarolo, Rome; Ambassador Gargano, Chairman of Empire State Development; and Governor Pataki of New York. I’m glad to see Touro actively engaged with such esteemed leadership and the development of highly credible educational opportunities. This type of involvement and activity certainly bodes well for the reputation, recognition and future of Touro as an institution, which in turn also benefit its students, campuses and communities that Touro serves.

Thank you for the post, mfh.

They opened a branch in Berlin, Germany in 2003:

    Chicago Jewish Community Online

Looks like this fine school is doing great things for Jewish students in Europe.

Having such an institution becoming a big player in the online education world can only be a positive move!
