PhD/Doctoral Degree in Urban Studies

Does anyone know of a doctoral/PhD degree in Urban Studies or Urban Affairs? My friend prefers US institutions but would consider an offshore institution as well.

This is one of those subject areas that can be difficult to search out because the degree programs are frequently called different names. For example, I believe that Capella University has a PhD program in Community & Development. Is that the same thing as Urban Studies? Probably close enough. I think there are a few located in that group of Australian universities we commonly refer to and they employ terms such as "Development" or "Sustainable Development." They can be tweaked in such a way as to apply to agriculture or architecture. Ask your friend to look at the Capella offering and if it's a decent fit then we can probably come up with one or two more, even if they have different names.
