Does anyone know whether the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's Ed.S. in Educational Technology program is entirely online, or does it require some on-campus coursework?
According to John Bear, Mariah Bear, Tom Head, and Tom Nixon, _Bears' Guide to the Best Education Degrees by Distance Learning_ (Berkeley: Ten Speed Press, 2001), p. 79: "The Ed.S. in educational technology can be completed almost entirely through online study. Students must complete ten courses and a capstone project, and students must visit the campus for an oral defense."
Thanks for the reply, Theo. After posting my question here, I e-mailed the UTC Ed.S. program coordinator, who tells me the program is "50 percent online and 50 percent 'live.'" Oh well--I will find another suitable program, I am sure. Thanks again!
