Hello everyone, I just wanted to say thank you all for your great participation and information you all share to this site for everyone to benefit from. I just graduated from University of Phoenix receiving my Bachelor's of Science in Business Management Degree. I was able to complete the full degree in 1 and a half years by doubling up on all my classes and taking out all my breaks in between classes. I also transferred over 50 units from my local community college for my GE and Elective credits. Now this portion is over I am starting my MBA program at Texas A&M - Commerce this upcoming January. I am excited yet a tad bit nervous not knowing what is ahead for me. I see some people are in or have been in the program I am about to enter does anyone have any suggestions for teachers, classes, what to take with what and what not to take with something else? Any help or direction would be appreciated. But most of all thank you all again for the inspiration and the information which has helped me get where I am now and staying strong to keep pushing forward! Thanks, Joe
Congratulations. TAMU-Commerce is a good school. Dont worry about anything. If you have any questions let me know. Professors are good, classes are rigorous but manageable. I am sure you will have a good experience. The professors work with you all along and are helpful. The courses are taught by the same faculty who teach on-campus. I usually take 1~2 courses each semester and able to do it without any problems. I highly recommend this school. Each course typically will have either cases or assignments/readings each week and 2~3 exams and are manageable. The class i am taking this semester has chat sessions(optional) every tuesday. You can call the professor for any questions and they welcome that. Keep us updated about your progress. I am not taking any classes in Jan 2006. PM me if you need any more info.
dl_mba thanks for the heads up. I will keep you posted for sure and thanks for sharing that valuable information. I will PM you if I need anything. To bad you not taking any classes this semester it would have been nice to take one or 2 with you. Maybe next semester. Thanks again, Joe
Congrats Joe! I wish you the very best! I know this has been a struggle for you at times... If my recollection serves me correct the orginal school of choice was CSU-DH for your MBA and there were obsticles..so you were looking for alternatives and indeed you found them! Again congrats!
Your very right Tim. I did have a few obsticales and I have found the right program for me and now I am very happy thanks again!
