    Hi, Folks!
Well, The University of London sent me my Offer of Registration for their LLM program. Now I need to select the four subjects I want to "offer" for examination. I had originally intended to go for maritime law BUT they've got some interesting stuff in crime and criminology that's more closely connected to my present (and future) field. I'll post my final selections when I register.

Congratulations! Please keep us updated. I don't believe we have any active posters who have done the UoL LL.M program, so it would be very interesting to hear the experience first-hand.

Good luck with it! I also would welcome your posts as to what this program is all about from a student's perspective.

Let's see...you can take an undesignated degree or you can take a degree in criminal justice, commercial law, maritime law, labour law (note the "u") or international business law.
Crim justice has some criminology in it which would be interesting. However, the international business program can be heavily EU oriented, something that might prove useful in the not to distant future. Of course, in the undesignated category, I could "cherry pick" exactly what I want.
There's also Modern Chinese Law but they havent developed study materials for it and "caution is indicated".
