Are graduate courses at NCU graded on examination performance, papers or a combination of both?

I can only speak to two classes there so far, and both are in the PhD program. I have only been graded on papers so far. I can't speak to the comps yet.

    Hi Simon.

Most of the graduate courses I have participated in at NCU were a combination of specific assignments and a final project/paper. The grades were based on the performance therein.

When there were actual exams, the grades were combined with the performance on the final paper.

The course I am in now consists of graded homework problems, 2 quizzes, 4 case studies, and a final exam. The classes I have had prior graded on anything from problems, to written responses, to research papers, to any combination of these.

To answer your question: both with each class being different.

    NCU

The school issues number grades for assignments and letter grades for courses and "S" grades for comps.
