I have two courses that I think I can take the school's challenge test for credit.

Both are CS courses. One is e-Commerce and the other is Microcomputer Applications.

Does anyone have any experience in what is really going to be on the test and what I might pick up as a study guide for these?
    Thanks,

The course description for e-Commerce reads:

This course is designed to familiarize students with current and emerging electronic commerce technologies using the Internet. Topics include: Internet technology for business advantage, managing electronic commerce funds transfer, reinventing the future of business through electronic commerce, business opportunities in electronic commerce, electronic commerce Website design, and social, political and ethical issues associated with electronic commerce, and business plans for technology ventures. The purpose of this course is to introduce to a new generation of mangers, planners, analysts, and programmers the realities and potential of electronic commerce.

The course description for Microcomputer Applications reads:

An introductory course that teaches microcomputer applications using Microsoft Office software. This course introduces the use of word-processing (Word), presentation software (PowerPoint), spreadsheets (Excel) and a desktop information management program (Outlook). Students are required to create a series of projects utilizing the software package and the Internet. Includes 1 lab credit.

For the e-commerce course you could obtain the textbook used for the e-commerce course taught at Aspen University in one of their graduate degrees.

As for the microcomputer courses I highly recommend the series of short textbooks used by Champlain College.

Visit the bookstore sections of the respective web sites once you identify the course number(s).

I would provide those details here but I do not have the books handy.

Do you have an academic advisor you could ask? Best to get it from the horse's mouth if possible.

I asked for the name of the text books used. I can pick these up pretty cheap.

    Thanks for all answers.
